Aliou Diarra gets MVP of the Week award for Basketball Africa League (by Hoops Agents)

Talented Aliou Diarra (F-2001) put on an amazing game in the last round for Stade and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 21-year old forward had a double-double of 23 points and fourteen rebounds, while his team edged out Kwara Falcons (#6, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 78-74. Stade is placed at 4th position in Basketball Africa League. Stade is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. Diarra just recently signed at Stade and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Diarra has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 18.5ppg) and averages solid 2.5bpg and 57.1% FGP.

He was another key player of Stade, helping his team with a 78-74 win against Kwara Falcons (#6, 0-3). Stade needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams.
